5 minute No Bake Energy Balls

 

Prep Time 5 minutes | Total Time 10 minutes

This is an easy, vegan, and gluten recipe for beginners. These tasty , one bowl, protein rich bites, can be made in about 5 minutes and are great for hikes or mid day snacks!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of oats

  • 1/2 cup of peanut or almond butter

  • 1/3 cup liquid sweetener (agave/ or honey if you aren’t vegan)

  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup ground flax seeds or chia seeds (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl

  2. Cover bowl and put in freezer or refrigerator for 20-30 minutes so mixture can get firm

  3. Roll into about 1-2 inch balls.

    That's it- so easy! Store in refrigerator for up to a week, in freezer for up to a month.

Make this recipe your own! Sometimes I add walnuts or dried fruit.
